This project was a first application of the citizen design science strategy at a public event. This case study took place during a public event at Keong Saik road in Chinatown, Singapore, which was also the test site for the study.

The project aimed to compare two approaches. In the first one, google street view images were shown together with a survey asking participants what they would like to change. The second approach was to use the Quick Urban Analysis Kit as an online design tool which was prepared in a way that participants could adapt the model by adding or removing objects. The goal was to see how many details need to appear in the visual representation of a city model.
The experiences have been used for further citizen design science experiments such as the Waterfront Tanjong Pagar project.
